Research Activities

29th Quadrennial Session of the CIE Waszyngton 2019

This conference was hosted by the United States National Committee of the CIE. The Session, which took place from June 14 to 22, 2019, in Washington DC and was an important event, which brought together the international membership of the CIE, as well as other experts in the fields of light and lighting – vision and colour, measurement, lighting applications, photobiology and image technology. It offered an opportunity to meet colleagues from around the world, to share knowledge both theoretical and practical, and to contribute to the work of CIE Technical Committees.

ICA-BELGIUM COLOUR SYMPOSIUM 2019 GHENT

The Colour Symposium brought together Belgian and international speakers from various disciplines spanning the fields of art, design, science and technology. A 3-day event encompasses 2 days of presentations, interactive colour exploration, a tour of the Light & Lighting Laboratory and its latest research, film screening and a full day workshop on colour education. About 45 presentations cover the latest colour research and application in areas such as art, design, architectural and spatial design, lighting design, film, science and technology, colour education and psychology.

VII. IEEE Lighting Conference of the Visegrad Countries LUMEN V4 2018

The aim of this conference was to present scientific, technological and technical achievements in the field of lighting technology and related fields, as well as discussion and to exchange experiences between specialists from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. It was expected that the LumenV4 conference will help to establish and strengthen professional and friendly relations. It was the 7th edition of this conference, the next one 8th will take place in Senec (Slovakia) in 2020.
